Is Virtual Reality the Next Big thing for mobiles?

The definition of virtual reality comes from the definitions for both ‘virtual’ and ‘reality’. The definition of ‘virtual’ is near and reality is what we experience. So the term ‘virtual reality’ basically means ‘near-reality’. Virtual reality is the creation of a virtual environment presented to our senses in such a way that we experience it as if we were really there.

Actually VR is not new to the people, it’s been in talk since 2000. But the VR industry never took off due to many constraints like expensive and bulky hardware, VR content for the mass media was not readily available. But due to today’s technology and mobile platforms like media content, inexpensive VR glasses etc, its gaining popularity.

A VR can be used for

 Gaming
 Entertainment
 Arts
 Architecture
 Study virtual tour.

VR is a completely focused and immersive experience, for which you need a VR headsets. VR is here to stay that’s why Facebook acquired  Oculus, makers of the crowd funded VR headset, which turned virtual reality  to the Next Big thing in the eyes of many consumers
